Extra services and more reliable trains

VLocity trains will run on the Warrnambool Line from 1 November and new timetables start for Geelong and Warrnambool from 1 December.
VLocity trains will be introduced on the Warrnambool Line for the first time from 1 November followed by new timetables starting on the Geelong and Warrnambool lines from 1 December.
Geelong Line passengers will have access to up to 68 more weekend services with 20 other weekend services extended from Wyndham Vale through to Waurn Ponds.
This will increase the frequency from every 40 minutes to 20 minutes between 8am and 9pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
On weekdays, more services will be extended to Marshall and Waurn Ponds stations.
A fourth weekend service will be introduced on the Warrnambool Line, along with the progressive roll out of more modern, reliable and accessible trains onto the line.

The new Geelong and Warrnambool timetables will be available to view on the V/Line website from 1 November 2024.
