Coaches replace evening trains on the Ballarat Line

Due to the forecast temperature, we are expecting to run a Extreme Heat timetable on the Geelong(36 degrees), Warrnambool(36 degrees), Ballarat, Ararat, Horsham, Maryborough, Seymour & Shepparton lines.

Ballarat line

Due to V/Line maintenance works, coaches replace evening trains on the Ballarat Line for the entire journey from Sunday 2 March to Tuesday 4 March.

Sunday 2 March

From Southern Cross Station:
From 8.30pm until last service – coaches replace trains to Wendouree for the entire journey.

From Ballarat/Wendouree:
From 7.00pm to last service – coaches replace trains to Southern Cross for the entire journey.

Monday 3 and Tuesday 4 March

From Southern Cross Station:
From 8.00pm to last service - coaches replace trains to Wendouree for the entire journey.

From Ballarat/Wendouree:
From 8.00pm to last service - coaches replace trains to Southern Cross for the entire journey.

Please allow an additional 40 minutes for your journey.

General Information
• There is limited space for bikes on V/Line trains and coach replacement services.
• No pets or hot food/liquids allowed on replacement coaches.
• Customers require a valid myki or paper ticket to travel on all V/Line replacement coach services. Please touch on and touch off your myki to ensure you pay the correct fare.
• In Melbourne, coaches will arrive and depart from the Southern Cross Station coach terminal located on Spencer Street, opposite Little Bourke Street.
