Line suspension - Seymour line

Seymour and Shepparton services remain suspended between Seymour and Melbourne due to an earlier fire near Heathcote Junction.

A limited supply of coaches will continue to replace trains on Tuesday, 4 March 2025.

Passengers traveling between Craigieburn and Donnybrook are advised to board local bus 501 Craigieburn Station to Donnybrook Station via Hume Fwy to connect with next departing Metro services to complete their journey. 

The following services have been altered:
From Southern Cross 

• The 05:55 Southern Cross - Shepparton service will originate at Seymour at 07:37 and not Southern Cross. 
• The 07:05 Southern Cross - Seymour service will not run today.
• The 08:14 Southern Cross - Seymour service will not run today. 
• The 09:26 Southern Cross - Shepparton service will not run today. 

To Southern Cross 

• The 05:03 Seymour - Southern Cross service will not run today.
• The 05:17 Shepparton - Southern Cross service will not run today. 
• The 05:38 Seymour - Southern Cross service will not run today.
• The 07:05 Seymour - Southern Cross service will not run today.
• The 08:16 Seymour - Southern Cross service will not run today.
• The 09:16 Seymour - Southern Cross service will not run today.
• The 12:58 Shepparton - Southern Cross service will not run today. 

We are assessing the situation and will advise when trains will resume.

General information

• In Melbourne, coaches will arrive and depart from the Southern Cross Station coach terminal located on Spencer Street, opposite Little Bourke Street.

• No pets allowed on replacement coaches.

• There is limited space for bikes on V/Line trains and coach replacement services.
