V/Line maintenance night works will also take place on

Coaches will depart Waurn Ponds, Marshall and South Geelong stations earlier than usual train times and may not connect directly with the train. Please check the temporary coach replacement timetable before you travel.
Please allow an additional 45 minutes travel time for your journey.
Please note: From Sunday 7 July to Thursday 15 August, there will be road detours and increased traffic congestion between Waurn Ponds and Geelong due to road works around South Geelong and Marshall stations. Extra time has been added to the temporary coach replacement timetable but some delays may occur.
South Geelong Station replacement coach stop:
The replacement coach stop will be located on Yarra Street. A temporary ticket office, toilets (including an accessible toilet), and a sheltered waiting room will be available while coaches replace trains from South Geelong Station. These facilities can be accessed from Yarra Street.
Marshall Station replacement coach stop:
The replacement coach stop will be located in the bus loop, opposite the existing station building. The new ticket office, toilets and sheltered waiting area will be open for passengers to use from 15 June.
General Information
- There is limited space for bikes on V/Line trains and coach replacement services
- No pets or hot food/liquids allowed on replacement coaches
- Customers require a valid myki or paper ticket to travel on all V/Line replacement coach services. Please touch on and touch off your myki to ensure you pay the correct fare
- In Melbourne, coaches will arrive and depart from the Southern Cross Station coach terminal located on Spencer Street, opposite Little Bourke Street
