Due to V/Line maintenance and infrastructure upgrade works, coaches will replace Seymour Line trains for the entire journey from
Monday 30 October to Thursday 23 November.

Coaches will replace Seymour Line trains between Southern Cross and Seymour.
Please note, the following services will run as trains on Thursday 23 November:
- 8.05pm Southern Cross to Seymour
- 9.43pm Southern Cross to Seymour

During this time, Shepparton Line trains will also be replaced by coaches for all or part of the journey.
Please note: There are road detours and increased traffic congestion around Southern Cross Station due to West Gate Tunnel Projects works from Sunday 8 October to Saturday 2 December. Passengers should expect some delays on V/Line replacement coaches travelling in and out of the coach terminal.
Coach replacement services will not stop at Essendon Station.
Albury Line trains will run as normal except on 30 October, when coaches replace Albury Line trains for the entire journey.
Coach replacement services will be a mix of express, semi-express and stopping all stations.
Please allow an additional 60 minutes for your journey.
General Information
- There is limited space for bikes on V/Line trains and coach replacement services.
- No pets or hot food/liquids allowed on replacement coaches.
- Customers require a valid myki or paper ticket to travel on all V/Line replacement coach services. Please touch on and touch off your myki to ensure you pay the correct fare.
- In Melbourne, coaches will arrive and depart from the Southern Cross Station coach terminal located on Spencer Street, opposite Little Bourke Street.
