As V/Line focuses its attention on returning services to normal, the timetable adjustment scheduled for Sunday 31 January will be deferred until further notice.

This is to ensure all efforts are dedicated to resolving the current wheel-wear issue and returning train services to normal as quickly as possible.

The timetable changes that will be delayed are:

• Bendigo Metro Rail
• Ballarat and Geelong line minor changes
• Gisborne – Gisborne Station Route 473 and 474
• Swan Hill – Tooleybuc via Nyah West
• Cowes – Wonthaggi via Anderson

Timetable changes for the Wyndham, Geelong and Lara bus networks will proceed as scheduled on 31 January and 1 February.

The current timetable will continue on all lines until further notice.
